Adult Beginner Violin Class
Learn the Violin in a Relaxed, Supportive Environment
Have you always wanted to learn the violin but weren't sure where to begin? This class is designed specifically for adults who are starting from the very beginning. Whether you've never played an instrument or are returning after many years, you'll be welcomed into a friendly, encouraging environment where learning is enjoyable and free from pressure.
This is not a performance class. There are no recitals, auditions, or expectations to perform for others. Instead, you'll learn at your own pace alongside fellow beginners while building a strong foundation in violin playing.
Cost: $40 per person, per one-hour class
To make getting started as easy as possible, violins are provided for use during class, so you don't need to own an instrument before enrolling.
During the course, you'll learn:
Proper violin and bow hold • Basic music reading • Fundamental violin technique
Simple songs and melodies • Practice strategies to help you continue learning with confidence
Classes are intentionally kept small so that every student receives individual attention and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Thursday classes are currently forming. Class times will be determined based on the availability of enrolled students, and additional sections may be added as enrollment grows.
If you've always dreamed of playing the violin, there's no better time to begin. I'd love to help you take that first step.
